The Complete America's Test Kitchen TV Show Cookbook: Every Recipe from Ten Years of the Hit TV Show

This is my go too resource for great recipes that just always work. If I want something simple, it is in there. If I was a WOW meal it is there. Not only does this book give you the recipe and walk you through the cooking process, it tells you why the recipe works. It often gives you a simpler process to achieve the same results of other more complicated recipes. For example their Arroz Con Pollo, or Latino-Style Chicken and Rice, is fantastic! The directions are easy to read and follow. Instead of taking half a day or more to prepare and cook, the entire meal can be completed and on the table in less then 1 ½ hours. The recipe for blueberry pie is excellent. The filling does not come out too thick and rubbery or liquid and runny. There is a shopping guide in the book on kitchen equipment and ingredients with recommendation and best buys to save you money. This is an excellent cookbook and well worth the money.
