I love this book. I am a 73 year old retired male that loves to cook living in NYC. I use Lucinda's book for inspiration for drop in friends. Have lugged the book to CT. on the train to cook for my son Kevin & his roommate & friends. Will be taking it for Thanksgiving as her side dishes will make the turkey rock. Rock.

This has rapidly become "THE cookbook" in my house. I've got two growing boys to feed, but what I find most amazing is that her recipes are simple enough to do easily but creative and interesting enough to keep me finding new things that I'm aching to cook. And everything I've made so far has been terrific. Very useful tips that can apply in lots of situations. Can't say enough great things about this book.

I love this book. I only have 2 males to feed, but need "go to" meals for crazy days. Now I have my "go to" cookbook! More than just recipes - strategies to be able to have 3 meals a day be healthy and hearty. Off to prep for pork chops with apples - and then have time to spend time with my boy!
