I love this book! Have made several recipes from the scones to the brioche to cupcakes, and they're all perfect! For my Kitchen Aid convection electric oven, the baking times are a little long. But otherwise, they all come out perfectly, and I like that Chang offers both weights and measures for ingredients. Highly recommend this for both new and experienced bakers!

I couldn't wait for this book to be published. Recipes are fine. But whoever designed the font/typestyle for the actual recipes did not consider what happens when one uses a recipe. The font/style is much too light. Parts of the book are in bolder font.....when they republish it ( in paperback?) hopefully they will use a stronger and darker more readable font.
