No eggs for this ice cream! My toddler granddaughter is allergic so this is a good start for making safe ice creams for her. As for us, we love the ice creams made so far, a good half dozen. An easy process from start to finish. This book is better than the other ice cream book I have.

First time I have ever made ice cream in my Cuisinart machine and it wasn't crumbly. Started with vanilla and it was superb! Lots of ideas for other flavors, drinks, sundaes and more. I have 5 other books on ice cream and this is far and away the best.

The recipes in this cookbook are fabulous (I highly recommend the Goat Cheese with Roasted Cherries ice cream), and it's also a joy to read! Jeni's story and how she started her business, created the flavors, etc. is very intersting! The instructions for the ice creams, frozen yogurts, and sorbets are very clear, easy to follow. Another nice addition is the recommended pairings (beverages, other foods) with each flavor, and variations that can be made with minor adjustments to the recipes. If you want a really, really good cookbook for making ice creams, this is it!
