This is a book for anyone who loves food and loves to eat. Nigella helps you organise your kitchen, your time and gives great recipies to fit whatever phase of life you are in, kids, weight loss, entertaining for lunch or dinner. Classic recipies for salad dressing, ice cream, roast chicken sit with innovations like White Tiramisu, Barbados Cream and Strawberries in Balsamic Vinegar. My edition is 10 years old and covered in notes, I cook often from this book, and get great compliments when I do. I even like to sit and read it! A great modern all round kitchen companion, for me it is up there with 'Joy' as a must have.
