I immediately bought two small slow cookers based on this cookbook. The apple cinnamon oatmeal was worth the entire cost of the book. The recipes are tasty and easy to prepare. It's great for the small family or singles.

I checked this out of the library and have so far made 2 fantastic recipes with so many more that I marked to try. The lemon-cumin yellow split pea soup is fantastic and just the right amount to eat + leftovers without getting tired of it, and the recipes don't require much modification to be made diet-friendly. Based on this, I'm buying the book.
